How a paddle eraser works
Ball residue and dirt can collect on a textured carbon face. A carbon-fibre paddle eraser is a rubber cleaning block: gentle friction helps lift that build-up from the surface. Despite the name, it cleans carbon fibre; it is not a block of carbon fibre.
Use it to remove residue, not to sand or resurface the paddle. Cleaning cannot repair a damaged core or replace worn surface texture.
Clean your Series 01 in three steps

Start dry.
Brush away loose dust with a clean, soft cloth. Make sure the paddle face and eraser are dry.

Rub gently.
Use light pressure and small circles over marks on the carbon playing surface. Keep the eraser off the grip and edge guard. Stop if the surface appears damaged.

Wipe away the crumbs.
Finish with a clean microfibre cloth. For remaining dirt, use a cloth lightly dampened with water, then let the paddle dry fully.
Cover it between games
Once dry, slip your paddle into its cover before putting it in your bag. This helps keep the face away from loose keys, grit and other equipment. A cover helps protect against everyday scuffs; it does not make a hot car a safe storage place.
- Store indoors, somewhere dry and at room temperature.
- Wipe sweat off the handle after play.
- Avoid soaking, household cleaners, solvents and abrasive brushes.
- Never leave your paddle in a hot car.
